My theatre had almost something similar. Everyone was a fan safe for me, my 6 friends and one person across the room who had this wickedly loud laugh. I'm surprised we didn't get kicked out we were laughing so hard, and got told to shut up a few times, as well as a few stares thrown our way. It was great! And I mean, how can you not laugh, the sparkling momments actually had a twinkling sound effect, come on!

I went to see it also.... it was bizarre.... the movie and the experience. I thought I liked Twilight, but compared to those rabid little girls, I think I must actually hate Twilight, because their infatuation is at a level I can't even process.

This is exactly why I don't go out to major movie theaters anymore. The last film I went to see was The Simpsons Movie, and the kids in the theater would not shut the fuck up. It was constant babble, and screaming and giggling. So much that I couldn't even hear the damn movie. Which is wild because the sound was loud as all hell.

Now I just stick to 21+ theaters. Pizza, beer and a movie = FTW.

People who scream "shut the fuck up, I'm trying to watch the movie" have obviously never been to a midnight screening before. You don't go to a midnight screening to watch the movie. You go to a midnight screening to make an ass of yourself. I've done it plenty of times before, and I've had grand fun. I remember at the Star Wars III midnight showing a couple years ago, Darth Drunk (who was wearing a Vader "who's your daddy" tshirt) had a lightsaber duel with a Jedi in the aisles of the theater. Good times. :)

Wow, this is like Comic-Con all over again. It was pretty much the same experience I had at the Twilight panel, except maybe 1/3 of the audience were screaming middle-aged moms. Now THAT was scary.
