Ugh, the finale was weak. The last 35 minutes could have been condensed into getting everyone on the screen at once and saying at the same time, "Boo hoo, I don't know what I did last night." Then we could have just gotten on with the story. I much prefer Meredith's version here...
I love this adult show with lots of nudity, blood, sex, and adult situations.the story is interesting and it is about time we had a truly adult show scifi or horror tv.
And *poof* Zombie Godric-Jesus reappears and smites Maryann and smotes and smites everyone else who has been naughty while he was undead/dead/undead and everyone has a big laugh and lives happily ever after until next season when Bill finds out Sookie is almost pregnant with an almost rape baby.
And here I was thinking I'd only get one more Meredith True Blood op-ed this year! Here's hoping that the actual episode plays out like this word-for-Eggs-killin'-word.
But adding my ante in the Juliet vs. Kate fracas, I say the show lacks a certain redheaded dreamboat named Charlotte. She needs to become Mrs. Daniel Faraday, and ride off on a unicorn while it poots rainbows.
That, or Katey Sagal can finally make an honest man out of Locke, hm?
@Meredith Woerner: Kate's had it coming for a long time. If Juliet's only crime is the smirk on her face, she should be spared because she's the show's only capable, non-psychotic female and because Kate has long since surpassed her in the "sour face" expression category.
In review: Kate is awful and should die. Juliet is awesome and hot. The end.
@Spiral: @AngryEddy: ha ha ha ok ok I think I see where the real hatred is stemming from. You are right about that smirk. If more people continue the Kate hate I will consider changing the tag. Consider, it really is a big old smirk.
@bitgod: Not trying to be too big of a troll, but I'm really tired of her sad face. She's pretty and what not, but oh man am I ever sick of the plots that surround her. Especially when she COULD have left but then didn't.
While Juliet's eternally smirky expression annoys me, I appreciate having a female character on the show whose sole purpose is not to ruin everyone's lives via whining/manipulation/illogic/klutziness.

I think she's earned some credit with the time travel community.

Kate should die, too -- and it's not like they couldn't kill them both at once, like with Ana-Lucia and Libby.

Does that help?
