Wait, I liked what the Flying Spaghetti Monster said she was going to do to enact new policies and evict all the corrupt "business as usual" cronies from the Soil and Water Conservation Board. Why does "the man" always want to keep the FSM-friends crushed under their iron boots?

    Revolution!

I would like to know why a religious figure is on a scifi site such as this. I don't appreciate the holy flying spaghetti monster existing in the same category as these "laser beams" and "battlestar galacticons" you seem to enjoy so much.

@Fishypu: It's because FSM is the only religious icon that tastes delicious when eaten. No, that didn't actually answer your question, but hey look a penny

The Lizard People might have been a Gawker reference, as that's what they were calling it over there. Have you guys not coordinated this story? lol

Forget Franken or the FSM- my question is how can anyone not vote for a person named El Tinklenberg?

@Kishi: Agreed. It sounds like a character from a watersports pron flick.

"His father was a German Land owner who came to Mexico looking for profit but found love with his secretary. When they were murdered by a gang of sexy murderous vixens their son would grow up to take a special kind of revenge... He would become EL TINKLENBERG!!! You don't want to 'piss' him off."

To be fair, if you squint Al Franken does resemble some sort of noodle dish.

"Lizard People" had to be discounted as that would be voting for more than one candidate.

Looking at the ballot, he (or she) voted for the Flying Spaghetti Monster for other offices, but not for senate, so their vote for Franken is valid.
