The cat with ears that pick up radio waves is the description of the evil Coeurl in Van Vogt's "Black Destroyer"/Voyage of the Space Beagle. (which greatly influenced "Alien") #fridaycatblogging
Okay people, one last time: there is nothing more science-fictional than funny pictures of cats. That's what science fiction is all about. #fridaycatblogging
@Grey_Area: Is that one of them there hairless cats? They look alien, and from what I hear, are even snippier than regular cats. Plus she looks to be tortoiseshell, which means we must all welcome our new non-furry overlord.
And she reads xkcd, so she's well-educated in the ways of evil.
@Evil Tortie's Mom: R.O.A.C.H.: We have two Sphynxes at the the store and I think they are more outgoing and friendlier than most cats (I AM NOT A CAT PERSON, no really).
Ripley demands petting from all our customers, many of whom are more than willing to comply, she feels like a velvet hot-water bottle.
We also have a younger Sphynx named Ash who is completely insane, running amok touching everything. She is also quite the darling and will charm customers with an actual hug before bounding off to investigate a terribly interesting bit of dust.
Aw, kitty. I wish she was a genetically engineered cat, then maybe someone will break it free from it's sad showcat life. Do you see the look on her face? That's pure terror, people. #fridaycatblogging

@crashedpc - unrein: Silly. That's not a kitty, this is a kitty! Her name is Ripley and she finds your lack of string disturbing.

Do they wear cute widdle sweaters in the winter? I know some hairless cats that do. #fridaycatblogging
