    The Potter epilogue was infamous? Really? I admit I don't recall any controversy about it - in fact I seem to recall Harry and Hermione futzing about in the woods for most of the school year being more infamous. I'd be interested to read some of the reaction - I rather liked the epilogue.

    @Lassus: Reportedly, Rowling was set to kill off Harry at the end of the book from the beginning, but changed her mind at the last minute and made the epilogue that's there now. I guess a lot of HP faithful felt it was a rather disappointing way to end it all.

    @TemporalSword: She did get a little blood-happy, but the faithful were disappointed that he didn't die? First I'd heard that.

    I admit I hadn't heard he was supposed to buy it. In fact, if he was and she changed her mind, I can see how that probably made her so death-happy with everyone else.

    @Lassus: I'm not sure if the disappointment was solely that he didn't die, or just that the whole "flash forward to their 30's and living a normal life" aspect just felt cliched and out of place.

    @Allen_Richards: Likely because people are saying "Are they lesbians who travel about killing ALL vampires or are they killers who focus exclusively on lesbian vampires - to the exclusion of, say, gay male and heterosexual ones?"

    A fine point, I admit, but a question worth asking.

    @Julius Seizure - Canuck: The entire "lesbian vampire" subgenre is a favorite of mine, especially when the emphasis is on the lesbianism (Seduction Cinema built an entire studio around these flicks).

    Now, I can understand where the confusion may occur as anyone seeing "lesbian vampire" in the title would focus only on that and not on the "killers" part. heaven forbid if it didn't deliver any lesbian vampire action and focused solely on the killing... Besides, killing only lesbian vampires in todays age could be considered homophobic, and the PC crowd definitely wouldn't be down that scene at all...

    She's still time traveling. And it could technically be the same Charlotte but from before she died. That pretty much allows her to pop up anywhere.

    I have the Kindred DVDs. And Ultraviolet. And...man, I'm getting tired of vamps. Zombies are the other over-used monster(s), but they haven't done any shows with that.

    Someone should make a zombie series, The Walking Dead or something, hell Jeremiah + zombies.

    @bitgod: Ooops, now that I say that, I happened to be looking at the wiki for The Walking Dead and it mentions there's a series in production. Looks like AMC sometime next year. Time to bug DirecTV to get AMC in HD.
