    @bluehinter: The wiki has some intersting stuff - especially the line The cover artwork of Scales of Injustice even portrays a hybrid Silurian with features intermediate between their aquatic cousins the Sea Devils and one of the Silurians seen in Warriors. - if the Silurians are this open to interpretation in the canon, there's no reason this couldn't be one, I guess? #lost

    The mood on set and in the writer's room is as good as the ratings are bad, which is to say, wonderful.

    Translation: "The ratings are terrible and yes boss, it is our fault. All our fault. Your decisions are held in higher regard than what us artistic types call 'common sense'. But we are working real hard and staying positive. Right Fox? That's what you want? Go-getters. Smiles."

    Luckily, Fox has been insanely supportive, for which we are deeply grateful... [G]iven that we're on one of the [it] hardest [nights] on television...

    ...we're just focusing on making the best show we possibly can.[We promise.]

    And finally, the cry for help.

    What else can we do?

    I'm just saying. Seems fishy.

    Fire the writers, hire a continuity editor, pretend the second season never existed, and start next year with the real season 2. Its not like Thursday is the problem. The show started the year at 3.0, 2.3, 2.3, 2.1, 2.2, 1.7. People who used to watch Fringe are tuning out.

    Greys and CSI ate into the 3.0 starting a week later, but the 2.3-1.7 decline is either coming from cable or people just plain tuning out. All the other network shows in the 9-10 hour are seeing small declines or no growth, so they're not stealing Fringe's audience. #fringe

    I love this show and bought season 1 on dvd.FOX are dicks and pretty stupid.They had some great ratings on this show and moved it instead of leaving it alone.
    If it aint broke dont fix it.............
    guess those morons didnot learn that lesson.

    There is a good, tangible reason for this last thursday's ratings hit, being that the night was scheduled for baseball.

    @Lassus: You're absolutely right. I didn't even know it was on until I read the recap on i09 here. My TiVO had no idea it was on either.

    Sports programming should be moved to a secondary station in all markets (3.2, 4.2, etc.). I don't know how often the programming I want to watch gets pushed by sports or political speeches. #fringe
