    It is interesting that there is relatively little overlap. Most land has water on the opposite side of the earth.


    I wonder if there is a reason for that or if it is just coincidence.

    I dug a hole in my back yard when I was a child in Arizona, and stopped when I hit water.


    You can imagine how freaky that would be for a 7 year old.


    Now I find out that water is on the other side. By my calculations, the earth is 8 feet deep.
