    Wait, why is Cobra Commander going to destroy the countries of the world unless they let him have control of them. What sort of an endgame is that? Isn't that like being a terrorist and killing the hostages on your plane when the only thing on your list of demands is getting to keep your hostages?


    And really, how big is COBRA anyways. Just give him control of the countries and then send Dr. Fumbles in with a .50 cal to the metal faceplate.

    Spoilers (for those who care)!!!


    Full disclosure: I love Warren Ellis and thought I knew what I should expect. But why must gritty realism invade my GI Joe? Bazooka and Major Blud dead?! Will the final episodes feature a giant Joe orgy followed by mass executions including Destro, Tomax and Xamot? Will Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow commit ritual suicide? Stay Tuned.


    Grittiness and misgivings aside, however; I love that Duke, Wolverine and Spike all share a voice. Also the art direction is wonderful. I just wish they could have stuck to telling me the dangers of huffing paint and instructing me how to safely tread water.
