Thats got to be the first time I have ever seen a movie actually do the 2 people looking the same routine where the hero actually fucks up beat the shit out of his friend and then gets the shit beat out of him!
If anything the fact they didnt do the typical cliche for that scene gives me a small meager glimmer of hope.
Doesn't look like somebody swung at his head. Looks like somebody hit him with an energy attack or something. See the smoke? I bet you this is their explanation for the hair. There will be a scene where he looks into a camera and a trumpet goes "Waah-waaaah-waaawawaaaaa" then a laugh track.
I hope that if I overstate it's possible horribleness, it won't seem that bad.
Why the hell did they release a promo photo of Goku eating a turkey leg? Whomever saw that photo and thought to themselves "yeah, this is totally going to get the idea of the character across to the fans and get them excited for more" should be not only fired, but fired and then shot in the head execution style in front of their coworkers to help stave off this kind of studio stupidity.
As for Picolo not being green, a DP once told me that green and red are the two worst colors to work with on screen for some reason. He gave me some technically complex yet legit sounding reason for this which I've long since forgotten, but that's most likely why he doesn't go green until later.
@cash907: I understand it can cause problems when using green-screen technology. Probably because of that three basic colors of light (CMG) thing. I don't know.

In what way does a movie about a mythological FANTASY creature and it's TESTICLES have anything to do with sci-fi!?
