    I don't mean to poop on this, but you can enter just about anything and get a fancy graph from Google Trends:


    Here is my entry for "ice penis."



    As you can see, as the election in 2008 drew to a close, many more people were interested in the term "ice penis." And we can, um, conclude from this that, uh...

    I know this sounds weird, but I imagine Warren Ellis had something to do with this. He mentions transhumanism in most of his works, it's a constant reference in his blogs and online journals, and he shares websites dedicated to it quite often.
