    Wasn't there a short story at one point that explained that Greedo was just some punk kid on Tattoine that got in way over his head trying to make a name for himself?

    Not that that would make this story any less plausible. Assuming he's got killer reflexes.

    @Ed Grabianowski: It's from an anthology by Kevin J Anderson called Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina. I thought it was a pretty good story, explaining how he escaped his clans anihilation and kind of stumbled into being a bounty hunter.

    @sabbon: LOVE that series. Tales of the Bounty Hunters deals with the others Vader was issuing "no disintigration" orders to with Fett. Always wondered as a small boy what the story was with those guys. Definitely worth a read (and I don't read much/enough).

    @avconsumer2: I liked how Boba Fett's ended with him and Han 5 years later, waiting like Old West gunmen for the other to draw.

    Of course Greedo's big problem, along with many SW villians - paticularly the Emperor -is monologuing. That is why I thought that young Darth Maul had a lot going for him: no chit-chat, just sinister looks and awesome moves. Such a pity.
