Comics Alliance has clips from a community theater's production of Green Lantern 13 (published in 1962) which chronicles a battle between Flash and Green Lantern.
looks like they've expanded the very beginning of JCOM so he spends a little more time on Earth, I guess to set up his backstory/a little of his character (since I see Rowdy, I'm guessing he gets in a fight, which would be cool).
However, if they go all Conn. Yankee in King Arthur's Court on this, and he goes to Mars after getting punched out,...well, I won't boycott it, but I'll be very slightly miffed!
Guys, Guys, save your Bucks on Lesbian Vampire Killers, it's Awful, in fact, its downright shocking and an embarrassment.
I've been proud of my great country's comedic film output, siting shaun of the dead as a prime example, but Lesbian vampire killers should be avoided at all costs!
@evildead1971: unfortunately there's a 50/50 chance you'll kill yourself from the sheer awfulness of tyhe mobvie before you even get to any Lesbian Vampires.
@Allen_Richards: Likely because people are saying "Are they lesbians who travel about killing ALL vampires or are they killers who focus exclusively on lesbian vampires - to the exclusion of, say, gay male and heterosexual ones?"
A fine point, I admit, but a question worth asking.
@Julius Seizure - Canuck: The entire "lesbian vampire" subgenre is a favorite of mine, especially when the emphasis is on the lesbianism (Seduction Cinema built an entire studio around these flicks).
Now, I can understand where the confusion may occur as anyone seeing "lesbian vampire" in the title would focus only on that and not on the "killers" part. heaven forbid if it didn't deliver any lesbian vampire action and focused solely on the killing... Besides, killing only lesbian vampires in todays age could be considered homophobic, and the PC crowd definitely wouldn't be down that scene at all...
@Tyrunn: Netflix doesn't have VAMPIRE KILLERS (no more LESBIAN in the title) streeting until the 29th. Do you have another chain carrying it already? It's possible it could be a Blockbuster exclusive for a few weeks, like HANNIBAL RISING, or whatever the hell that movie was called... I'm pretty sure DEVIL GIRL has been out for weeks at MOVIE GALLERY locations, and it's only just not hitting Netflix...
@TemporalSword: @evildead1971: I've opened Pandora's Box now - it's far more fun than advertised.
Nagix: Hello boys.
Stan: Dad?
Nagix: No, not really. I just read your mind and thought this form might be more pleasing to you.
Kyle: Oh dude, don't do that, that's gay.
Stan: Yeah, that's like that stupid movie Contact.
Cartman: Ah, God that movie pissed me off.
@Allen_Richards: It's a British movie, it was released ages ago - nearly every commerically available DVD player, (we're talking 99.99999999%), will play multi-region DVD's and the pound is so weak you could probably import it for an hours wages!
Plus there will be a million and one rips of it online, (not that it's worth your bandwidth or your money - it's a fiver on Amazon! [www.amazon.co.uk])
@Tyrunn: Didn't realize it was a Brit flick, as I've purposely tried not to dig up any information. Outside of some North American festival screenings, I don't know much about it, so thanks for the heads up.
Also, since I don't download rips, viewing it that way was never an option.
@Allen_Richards: Oh for sure, a RIP is a final option for me, (after trying Amazon, LoveFilm and whatever else) - Tried for years to get MyOwn Private Idaho legally to no avail, (snapped it up the second it became avaiable, twice).
The film is good for kitsch value, as the title suggests it's not one for those Hicks would call 'Readers'.
@Tyrunn: Don't get me wrong, often torrents are the only way to see OOP titles. Just for me, with my current internet, downloading isn't an option. Relocating to a farm years ago, surrounded by other much larger farms, my only internet option is satellite based, and those buggers restrict the amount of bandwidth you can use each day to about 200M.
Now that Microwave internet is available to the public without any current bandwidth limitations, I've thought about a switch, but another $600 U.S. is too much to shell out right now...
@Tyrunn: Oddly enough, there's a trailer park about 1/4 mile from me, that's in another state, and has fiber. A rundown trailer park at that...
There's fiber all over the U.S., and not just in the metro markets any more. While my extended surrounding area is little more than a suburb of D.C., it's my immediate surrounding area that's the problem. Then again, that's the trade off for having deer, bear, bunnies, raccoons, and all sorts of wildlife hanging out in my front yard...
"And in case you didn't already know this, the CW is still hot to trot to get a tenth season of this "wake me when he's Superman" show."
Wait, he's STILL not Superman yet?? I stopped watching 5 seasons ago. Can he at least hold flight yet or is it still a Greatest American Hero sort of deal?
The Who pictures appear to be from the beginning of the Children In Need micro-special - I'm at work so I can't YouTube but it's in there a few times. Searching "who children in need 2009" should get you there.

You were doing so well. So many days without "Heroes" spoilers, I thought maybe the show had been cancelled.

I'd imagine laying fibre optics would be a mamouth task in the US though.

We have plans in place, in what's called the 'Digital Britain' bill to try and get better broadband speed to everyone.
Again, I'd imagine in a country the size of one of the US States it's a far easier task than to fibre up an entire continent!
