I've already watched the film too. It was pretty good. And though I'm not a major comic reader, hearing that oath uttered did spark something within. It's pretty strong stuff.
We picked up the DVD for Green Lantern First Flight earlier this week (I think it was Thursday) at a Wal Mart here in Ottawa. Had no idea they had it on the shelves a week early until a friend told us we shouldn't have been able to get it yet. :o)
Speaking as a huge, fickle lantern nerd....I frigging loved it. These cartoons are the closest thing to proper comic book movies that anyone will ever get(I'm looking at you hollywood). *Thinks about X-men Origins: Wolverine. Vomits.*
Gallifrey Base has been speculating about the name of the wrecked spacecraft since the original photos came out yesterday, but now somebody has snapped this lucky shot which confirmed our suspicions that the crashed ship is indeed named 'Byzantium.'
"The crash of the Byzantium" was one of the events that River Song referenced back in Silence in the Library when she was trying to determine which adventures she and the Doctor had already been on together.
One can only wonder if this means we're going to see a "picnic in Asgard" or the "end of the universe" in season 6?
I like the new companion, as I'm all about the gingers, but what could have inspired them to cast Marty McFly's dad as the new Doctor? My Creeped-right-the-F-out-O-Meter is pegged at 10 right now.
there is going to be the Doctors giant head in the opening credits this year. Let's hope to god it doesn't wink, but there'll be the head, it was announce a while ago.

Even more Spoiler pics from the same episode of Doctor Who. Looks like space marines and we figure out where River Song got those handcuffs.

2. I never need to see River Song again. Thanks.
3. New Team Tardis needs a boy/man companion on the team.
