Hrmm. Horror film made by near genius auteur with indie and commercial cred starring Katie Holmes?! Mr. Raimi threw down the gauntlet. Del Toro, let's see if you can show us Ms. Holmes' tits while her character is still alive.
saw the original as a kid and it scared me for years! saw a boot of it last year finally and it still held up *fairly* well... so now they're dredging up forgotten 70s TV movies to remake? Del Toro showed promise early on, but has done little to really rock the boat as I was hoping. Sigh. Oh well...
@mazigazi: OH SWEET JESUS. "Yeah, that Orson Welles guy. Sure, he made Citizen Kane. But what has he hasn't rocked my boat recently". If you can effin' nitpick probably one of the best creative talents working today, then you are a truly misguided individual.
All you need is a cat and those pesky wall-dwelling trolls and demons are kept closely in check. You may have a child or two lose their souls in the process, but you can't put a price on protection!
i know who katie holmes' tiny demon is (emphasis on tiny) but guy's is a mystery.
speaking of whom, is memento really the right film to put next to his name. it was inventive and intriguing, sure, but there are so many other rolls he excelled in: traitor, count of monte cristo, l.a. confidential, the time machine. ok so that last one wasn't the best film but he was still good in it.

Been watching Cat's Eye eh?
Seriously though, a couple of rough and tumble mogs would clean those demons right up.
