Am I the only one who hates John Cusack with the fire of a thousand suns? He's such a terrible, horrible, pathetic actor, movies have to be excellent just to be watchable with his stink infecting them. #hottubtimemachine
I really think that Crispin Glover is so bizarre that it sometimes loops back on itself, popping him up in movies like this, Back to the Future, or Charlie's Angels. The number of non "What Is It?" movies an actor shows up in is a good litmus test for how much of the weirdness is an act. Oh and this movie looks hilarious and John Cusak's twitter posts deserve a Crispin Glover movie of their own. #hottubtimemachine
This just goes to show how much I don't understand the studio system. Why do you start a movie with only 60 pgs of the script and rush for it to get made? Is that not ONE hard-R completed comedy script out there that would work? It just seems like the studio is desperate to crank out a raunch comedy after the success of "Hangover."
I just had a vision of how hilarious Craig Robinson as a part of the cast of Better Off Dead would have been and IT BLEW MY FUCKING MIND. #hottubtimemachine
"Still, it was more than what I had to work with when shooting 2012. The director just threw us all on a trampoline in front of a green screen and handed us a note that said 'Earth goes boom'."
@Zapp Brannigan's Girdle: What's even stranger is that in the 80's I remember these specific people coming back from the year 2010. I guess it is a true story after all!
@AngryEddy: Exactly. We've forgiven him for Enterprise; he had nothing to work with. (He must have looked back longingly to the old QL days of decent scripts). Plus, he was mucho charming on Chuck.

For people who enjoy time travel by means of household appliances, I present:

When westerners think that they have discovered something new and crazy, chances are the Japanese already beat them to it.

The IMDB page is way too sparse, so you get the wikipedia page. And yes, it's a washer/time machine

In 1994 there was that classic Treehouse of Terror short where Homer accidentally converts the toaster into a time machine.

About Bakula, what's his standing among us sci-fi fans? Did Enterprise ruin him for us or what?
in the Transformers TV spot, anybody recognise who's at the 9 second mark?
