    @crashedpc : ゴキブリ and 蟑螂 division: Actually, the term "Elder Things" is used by the Call of Cthulhu RPG for the alien scientists in "At the Mountains of Madness" to distinguish them from the blindly malevolent star beings.

    Antarctic Exploration Log, March 25, 2011:


    Today we have set up camp near the newly discovered ice mountains in East Antarctica. The dogs are jumpy, barking at shadows and generally being little snotty bitches. More to follow.


    April 14, 2011:


    Johnson showed me this short story that he's been reading, At the Mountains of Madness by some guy named HP Lovecraft. Guy sounds like some sort of techno-hippy cultist freak, if you ask me. Hah, it's even set in Antarctica!
