@cha0tic: since 'our new overlords' and 'i can haz chezburgor' posts aren't disemvoweled i can only assume this was a spoiler related censorship which disgusts me. if the story isn't worth watching or reading after you know how it ends then it was never worth it in the first place.
@tetracycloide: That's total bull. The best authors are those who are able to build the story up to an unknown climax, and are able to get the reader to buy into this. Are you really discounting the entire crime and mystery genre in one go?
@Sam Healer: crime and mystery genre writters are good writters when the stories are worth reading more than once. if the only thing a story has going for it is the mystery then it's not a good story, it's a good puzzle. furthermore the book/film in question is not a crime and mystery genre piece.
@acrobatic rabbit: name one book of literary merit that's only worth reading once and you'll have proved your point.
@Meredith Woerner: i'm sorry but fuck that. the no spoilers culture it's what's killing good story telling because all it does is prop up shit writters with interested generated from artifical wonder over what's going to happen next at the expense of real quality. good plots, well written characters, captivating dialogue, cleaver metaphore, insightful observations, fascinating discriptions, these are the qualities of a well written story and they are in no way dimished by knowing more about them.
@Elizabeth Weinbloom: you're right, i can't spell. unfortunately you're the one millionth person to notice this and we have long since run out of prizes. thank you for playing.

Well, mostly Dumbledore, actually. Harry does stand around watching a lot, though.

Nothing sexual because teenage boys are all about chastity and resisting urges.
