    can't say I liked the black hole visualized as a flat plane...I'm no astrophysicist but I'm pretty sure they're spherical...

    Interesting how the Romulan Ships are evolving away from sleek, green birdlike forms to giant, overcomplicated spiny ships (Nemesis, this movie).


    And Romulans love their tats!

    @NotChoinski: Well, I'm in the minority who believe that the Narada in the movie is a ship that was modified with romulan/borg technology as depicted in Star Trek Countdown. I just don't see why a ship would look like this especially since it's just supposed to be a mining vessel.

    @Jeyl: it's the same paradigm as modern satellites. space travel is expensive and mining wessels in the future will stud their hulls with useful parts so as to waste as little surface area as possible.

    a grittier and dirtier version of the bridge would not have made sense given that the enterprise was a totally brand new ship.
