    When a entertainment news item mentions Disney it doesn't necessarily mean the family-friendly Walt Disney Studios. Disney is usually entertainment shorthand for Walt Disney Motion Pictures Group. Disney also owns Miramax Films, Touchstone Pictures, and Hollywood Pictures. #alienlegion

    I LOVED this comic when it came out. One of my all-time favorites. It's one of those things that doesn't bear some kind of OH NO THEY WILL RUIN MY CHILDHOOD thing with it for me, though. so I'm fully in favor of rolling the dice and seeing what sort of big-screen option they come up with. #alienlegion

    You know, sometimes I have to wonder if the super-saturation of humans vs. machines tales and the fact that it is a (perhaps THE) common acceptable trope amongst the general non-sci-fi audience (i.e. everybody) isn't directly due to the fact that it allows people to try and forget the fact that we are incapable of making even a dent in the humans vs. humans reality that the population is addicted to like free crack.
