    The only other nod to Battlestar Galactica was the use of music from the episode 'Pegasus' (I think) called "Prelude to War" for the Drama category montage.

    Wow... Vanessa Williams is pretty much a cow for not playing along with the silly eye-wear schtick. Hey Vanessa, I've heard how some tribes believe cameras steal people's souls, but until now I wasn't aware they could rob a former beauty queen of her sense of humor and class.

    @Meredith Woerner: I dunno Mer, maybe the Botox left her with nerve damage, but there wasn't a whole lot of warmth in her expression. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt, but frankly, she's not that good of an actress.

    @Cash907Censored: She was likely in on the joke, as Meredith said. Plus, her character Wilhemina on 'Ugly Betty' is notorious for being a blowhard; Wilhemina doesn't play around with other people's shit; ---she does her own.

    Plus, who cares if she doesn't have a sense of humour? What's the big deal?

    @Menouthis:
    Given the award she was nominated for, I'm thinking a sense of humor might have come in handy.

    I'm sure at least one of the women will be asked about the eye wear gag by Ellen or The View, or whatever interview show they wind up on, so it's likely the truth will come out as to whether or not she was playing along soon enough.

    @Cash907Censored: here's the thing. sometimes for comedy to work, you need someone who isn't playing for laughs. the 'straight' man/woman. that is Vanessa's character. so if anything she was totally playing her part by not doing the schticky stuff

    "Only two vampires who matter"? Them's fighting words around here. It is basically marginalization of all other vampires, and therefore viewers who like them/watching them/disagree.

    I don't even know who the guy beside Angel is - had to look it up. Never went for soaps (except of course for the original "Soap" show). And making it a vampire soap didn't help me overcome that perception.

    IMHO if they brought out James Masters, then it would have been two vampires that matter (in recent TV history, to me).
