Aaaaah. the "lightwhip". One of a very long line of stupid ideas that served to utterly ruin anything interesting about the idea of the "Jedi".

You had me at lightwhip. Although that would probably be a rather impractical weapon.

Drat is actually Nagai for f***. The actually translation is about five sentences and it is all vulgar, but it's used similarly.

Mr. McMillan, you seem to have listed every reason that the Nagai were camp and should never be heard of again.

While we're talking about things Star Wars should do, why are there no games where you fight the Yuuzhan Vong? Good times are sure to ensue!

@ThisDudeRufus: your right, the nagai are pointless, the vong are a better enemy, why would we want to see the nagai who were short lived.

mcmillian has probably never read any of the recent expanded universe stuff, or he would have never suggested the nagai.

the vong series was extremely entertaining and it brought the young jedi (Solo kids, zekk, tenal ka, etc.) into the spotlight and made the just as lovable of characters as there predecessors. plus the vong story starts off with a bang with the death of chewie.

come on lucas, give us the vong story in cgi or video game form, we as fans deserve at least that much.

@ookees: The Vong were idiotic third rate sci fi inventions. A cross between the borg and starship troopers. Their inception was the beginning of the end of everything that used to be good about the Star Wars mythology. Culminating in Jar Jar frigging Binks and the midichlorians.

The mystical field that binds all life in the cosmose together? Oh let's just invent a reason why these bug aliens are mysteriously immune. Oh and then we go to their homeworld and suddenly find that it's a sentient planet that can travel through hyperspace. Oh, and now we can beat them because we've UNIFIED the Force. Because despite these whatever thousands of years of training, everyone who ever used the force was wrong. Good isn't good and the dark side isn't bad. But now thanks to Deus Ex Retard maneuver #4, we have Jacen Solo's "complete mastery" of the force. God, the whole NJO makes me retch.
