The Giant Laser Clouds of Helsinki
The entire city of Helsinki, Finland gets its hot water and energy from the Salmisaari power plant. And now its towering smokestacks are about to become a giant laser light show. During the last week in Februrary, a group of French artists will beam a laser ray at the plume of vapor emissions from the plant, which they hope will call attention to the amount of emissions the city is spewing into the air.
