Really its not so much they dont have some similarities, its more (to me) they have similarities with so many sci-fi monsters anyway that the similaties to eachother isnt that significant in comparison.

As for my tastes in girls, well, greens nice indeed.
But shouldnt we go past skin-colour completely now?
What about shape-bias?
But I wouldnt mind a tail and some wings too on my girl. Wings would have to be fairly retractable tough for practicality reasons.
And we would probably need to live in a low gravity enviroment for them to work.
