    Based on the image on the right Earth was molded out of the cover of a Trapper Keeper and was a breeding ground for Unicorns.

    people who count in millions/billions can't be taken very seriously. It is a cool idea, but come on. What is your margin of error? I am not saying they are wrong. They could be right on. It is just so far in the past, that guess work and imagination are necessary.

    @dagwood00: Actualy, they normaly specify magins or error in this sort of research (say +/-10,000 years).


    Just because we cant give very precise dates in absolute terms, dosnt mean its wrong in general terms specified.

    @twDarkflame: And research a few years later will show us something entirely different. It's not about their stated margin of error, it's about the assumptions they necessarily have to make to extrapolate their measurable data back that far.
