Fright Night was a great movie that i really enjoyed. The news that it is being turned into YARM turned my stomach.
I refuse To Support Any Remake Any Longer !!!! no matter what it is i do not care.Anyone who thinks this is a good movie idea should have their head examined.Don't you folks want new stuff instead of retreads.
No way will I ever go near this even if you payed me. #frightnight

Fright Night was a great movie. An 80's horror classic, and who can ever forget Roddy McDowell? So great. #frightnight

Well, YAARM aside, I'm actually excited for this! Mari Noxon and Fright Night seems like a great combo. Just hope Broots and Chris Sarandon get cameos... #frightnight

I'd be interested how they update the most important part, the hosted TV horror show. Those may still exist, but they're very marginalized compared to the way they were there. I wouldn't be surprised if many of the new movie's target audience (the inevitable 13-24 year olds) had never seen a horror host show. #frightnight

Modernizing the effects? Chris Sarandon's elongated fingers worked just fine for me. Amy Bearse with a giant smiling demon mouth worked just fine for me. And the scene where Jonathan Stark melted was awesome. What other effects are there to "modernize"? #frightnight

Marti Noxon works well with others, but put her in charge? Does anyone remember Point Pleasant? Anyone? Yeah, I didn't think so. #frightnight

Huh... I had no idea that Marti Noxon had written some of my favorite Buffy eps. As well as several I didn't like at all.

    Now I'm confused. #frightnight

@Dunny0: she wrote some decent ones, but is mostly responsible for the trainwreck bit of season 6, the "magic is heroin" angle. #frightnight

@vkevlar: Ugh, a low point of the series. I honestly don't remember how it fit into the rest of the show - I think I've selectively edited those bits out of my personal fanon. #frightnight

Can they wait for 10 years? I'm guessing people (outside of Twilight types) are starting to get rather sick of vampires. I am.

As soon as I get my hands on Meredith's book, that's the end, I'm boycotting vampires. And zombies. I'm probably passively boycotting them anyhow, but jesus, this is just enough. It is time for ACTION!

Maybe I'll call R.O.A.C.H.. They did such a good job with Dollhouse. #frightnight

Okay, on the one hand, I hate you because clicking on this link reminded me about the awfulness that is Marti Noxon. On the other hand, you have inspired me to search out a "Peggy Olson the Vampire Slayer" fanfic. Someone has to have written this. #frightnight

I'm a Marti Noxon skeptic, but I guess having the least of Buffy's writers attached to something is a lot better than, say, the best Two and a Half Men writer attached. #frightnight
