@OW-Holmes--Upset with Polling: We can't, because if we travel into the future from this point in time, it will be the future of THIS reality, in which Biff is corrupt, powerful, and married to your mother, and in which THIS has happened to ME!! [holds up newspaper reading "EMMETT BROWN COMMITTED"] No, our only chance to repair the present is in the past, at the point where the time line skewed into this tangent. In order to put the universe back as we remember it and get back to our reality, we have to find out the exact date and specific circumstances of how, when, and where young Biff got his hands on that sports almanac.
@Grey_Area: Aww, thanks! :) Here's a secret, though, I already have a 4-year-old. But he thinks I am cool too. And he watches LOTR. So we have that going for us, which is nice.
@OW-Holmes--Upset with Polling: If you're referring to the description of Frank Miller's Martha Washington, it works out like this:
1.In the 1990s Frank Miller wanted to write a political satire. He set it in the future so it wouldn't be about any specific person but about general concepts in politics and socioeconomics.
2.In the 1990s the 21st Century was still in the future.
3.Much of the story takes place in what is now our present day --the early 21st Century.
4.Frank Miller is a good writer but not a prescient one. His fictional details of 21st Century life are entertaining but of course have no connection with the actual 21st Century we find ourselves in. They diverge quite a bit.
They're not for motion capture they're tracking dots. You guys have the basic idea but those are for tracking motion in 2d in compositing to place the other parts of the suit that need to be rendered. He's wearing the top bit and the hands because those would be the toughest areas to integrate with the plate(the live action image). Also it's better if he wears part of the suit in the plate so there's good reference. It's not that it's cheaper or not as good as mocap, it's really a completely different thing. That's the way you do it.
@crashedpc : ゴキブリ and 蟑螂 division: this was my first thought as well confirming that there's something wrong with my brain because i'm beginning to think like a chashedpc.
I like the Stoltz too, but we do know how Caprica ends.
I might watch SGU if it isn't too dark, though I'll bet money that they kill off Carlyle in the first few episodes and then we'll have Emo Kids In Space.
It'll give me a lot more time for reading actual science fiction, rather than syfy.
@Andrew Liptak: Yeah, that's much better. Especially since it has FarScape and CoD. Also really liked the one a few years back with that Switchfoot song "dare you to move." I think it aired with Taken...
@PVIII: I think it's just that this one feels less like a commercial, and it has a fantastic song along with it that really makes this one work so well.
@Smeagol92055: After seeing the trailer, I think he could be eating nachos wearing that getup and I'd still get excited. But I still wouldn't pay to see it.

I'll give W13 a chance, but besides Eureka and the toe I will dip into Caprica, I could give a toss.

Princess in the Frog? I think that movie's already been released. I saw it next to 'Bat Dude and Throbin' and 'Battlestar Orgasmica'

Couple of small articles, some new photos and a lot of synopses does not satisfy my sneaking or peeking needs.
