I thought this would be about metal eating bacteria bombs. How else with those damn foreigners fight when their weapons are only the wooden parts of an AK-47?

There was an old RPG called Blue Planet in which all building material had been replaced with "bioplastic" which was a cultured bacteria that was poured into a mould, grew a spore of plastic then died. It was a pretty great idea and all things considered, I think that's where we're headed.

@crashedpc : ゴキブリ and 蟑螂 division: What you need is a tin foil hat. As soon as you hear the crunch crunch, stick your head in a microwave and blast the creatures into oblivion. Wait, you don't care much about your head, do you?

Hm. Metal eating bacteria? We robot warriors better roll out the plastic and diamondoid combat chassis.

@corpore-metal: There will be bacteria that will eat those and shit out peanut butter to combat those models. And besides, aren't there already plastic eating bacteria?
