    @MISS MERCY STREET: Indeed, he was great in Dexter, but I had trouble seeing him as Jacob on Lost. In the words of ex-Gawker writer Kyle over at Movieline, "I never expected Jacob to be so vaguely fratty and doable".

    So maybe he's Aaron's son, sent from the future to rectify the past in some way? Or does that go against Faraday's "Whatever happened, happened" theory?


    I always thought he was much older than all of them...Alpert older, but perhaps it's the other way around.

    jacob is real other people besides ben have confirmed he is
    christian said he wasnt jacob.
    smokey is smokey. i think its just the island's guardian (juliette even said as much)
