I'll join the chorus-- I remember watching this on Nick at Nite back in the 80s/early 90s. Great episode of an excellent sitcom that still holds up well.
@Greasy Thumb Guzik: I always thought the Lou Grant line was an homage to Alan Brady telling her the same thing when she "outed" him for being bald and had to go to his office and apologize to him.
One of my favorite episodes, with one of my favorite lines... early in the episode, Rob is working late in the office, alone, and he says to himself (in a mad-scientist voice) "It's like being the last living cell in a dead body..."
the DVD show was the best ever. top notch writing, incredible physical humor, Mary in hot pants. This show had it all. Surely one of our finest (half) hours. I salute you Mr. Van Dyke and Mr. Riener. I Salute you.

It was Lou Grant that hated spunk!
First ep of the Mary Tyler Moore show when he was interviewing her for the job she got in the newsroom.
