Travel Inside The Horrifying Mind Of A Cyborg Killer, In "Offline" |

Yknow the most affecting and dystopian film I have seen recently was a documentary called "The Corporation" 2003.
It was well written, the visuals were arresting, the music over the course of the film started to gnaw/nibble at my soul, and the cast of heros and villains were all completely believable characters with fleshed out roles; who advanced the story of a dying world in which some people have chosen to fight, despite the pure denial of most of the population, who are increasingly obsessed with mass media.
No shit! thats what it was about. Yeah and about 10x more dystopical than this guys "horrifying" vision of another comic book future. I mean the PR woman in the film was more horrifying than a thousand cyborg robot soldiers.
What does it mean when a documentary can whip a dystopian films ass before the dystopian film is even made?
Back on topic - I hope this film gets a writer before it gets made.

This is a trite idea and coming from an fx guy doesn't give me any hope that it will have a fresh spin.

I'd rather watch something with lame effects and a compelling story than vice versa, any day. I mean, remember The Cell?
