Mere mention of the Apollo program still fills me with pride. It was back when we did big things. People of this generation could learn a great deal from it. Americans of today are so adsorbed with their current woes that they seem to forget that previous eras were no cakewalk, but where we sit around whimpering about our stock portfolios and ponzi scheme's they sent men to the moon. Is a reminder that we still can do big things. We shouldn't focus on the minutia of bailout this and subsidize that, we should aim higher, pull ourselves together and do something worthy of that tradition. As Ronald Reagan said, "We are too great a nation to limit ourselves to small dreams."

Agreed, that's a great image. So much of the literature/media is dedicated to the hardware and the astronauts, we forget how many thousands of people it took to make Apollo happen.

On a different note:

"taking on its own hair road role in our lives"

So, what speech to text recognition software came up with that gem?
