Mind Over Ship was cool and I'd really like to know what will grow from the Oship colonies, but I can wait. If Mr. Marusek has a new world he'd rather explore I'd much rather read about that.
One thing that struck me about this book was Masurek's treatment of nanotechnology, cloning, and computer/mind interfaces. These subjects are often portrayed as being cold and dehumanizing but here they seem like business as usual only weirder. I think this is because the development and control of these industries are driven by filthy rich people with the usual petty desires and jealousies normal folks have. I was continually reminded of prime-time Soap operas like Dallas or Dynasty. Darned entertaining.
@edz314: Yeah I liked Counting Heads more, though I also like where he's taking the series with the O-Ships. I suspect the next installment will be really great.
