    Genius:), especially the pros/cons for McG's Dollhouse:). Also Abrams doing Terminator would be fascinating and I seem to remember reading a parody script for Bay's Dark Knight a while back. It was nothing but a constant circling slow mo shot of Gordon and Batman standin up until...the Pentagon exploded. #transformers

    All of the ideas sound like they would be awesome except for McG and Dollhouse. I only have two words for that: Fuck McG! The guy is given too much credibility like M. Night, why these guys get handed awesome franchises to take incredible liberties with is beyond me. Of course we haven't seen The Last Airbender but we all know it won't be as awesome as the cartoon. #transformers

    Unless he gets hired as a security guard, Michael Bay needs to be banned from going anywhere near a movie studio. Bryan Singer doesn't need to direct another movie. He needs to be hired to work on other people's movies so he can direct the 20 minute monologues in which the leaders of teams of heroes explain each and every hero's powers and abilities. McG needs to start using a more professional sounding name. I don't care if it was a family nickname, I can't take any professional seriously when their professional name sounds like something you would order at a McDonald's run by "gangstas". Christopher Nolan should direct Batman movies for the rest of his career and I don't care what anyone has to say about moral ambiguity and the nihilistic Joker. Those were the best elements in Nolan's Batman movies. JJ Abrams can reboot any franchise he wants...as soon as he learns not to use lens flares in every scene. I'm actually kind of ambivalent about Orci and Kurtzman. They need to go to psychologists to deal with their daddy issues and stop foisting them on the audience.

There's gotta be someone on Earth-392 thinking "How could anyone but Wes Anderson direct Battlestar Galactica? And if Kevin Smith didn't do Lord of the Rings, how would you get that hilarious banter when Saruman and Sauron make fun of Wormtounge?" #transformers

    The brilliant "Tsunami: The Aftermath" came out in 2006. It was such a harrowing and thoughtful piece on the disaster and the BBC did a wonderful job not only in not exploiting the tragedy of the whole event, but also showing us humanity.

    It did suffer for it's "too soon" concern, but it was such a good movie that didn't really factor in.
    While this was a hugely significant event in south eastern Asia, I don't think that incorporating a character who experienced the event into a movie that isn't actually about the event is treating the subject with any disrespect. In fact it is almost an attitude of acceptance; a naturalness becoming in our collective conciousness. #clinteastwood
