V: I really don't like invasion shows but the clips I've seen so far look great.
The Vampire Diaries: Cancel now before I have to start throwing things at my tv.
Past Life: I am more than willing to stab the producers of this piece of trash just so it doesn't get on the air and cause plummeting of the median IQ that already happened during the airing of medium and the ghost whisperer.
FlashForward: The clips so far looks good but if it has the polar bear(black myst) syndrome then I wish it to the depths of hell known only as fox on friday night.
Day One & Eastwick: I have not seen anything on either.
If they can make Human Target as good as Peter Milligan did, it should be awesome. Unfortunately, Executive Meddling seems to have already commenced, since the premise of the show would give star Brad Chase (I can't remember his real name!) nothing to do.
@kelz: I picked Eastwick, but only because comparing Past Life to My Own Worst Enemy would be insulting to My Own Worst Enemy.
I don't know anything about Vampire Diaries, but this reminds me of that one year in the 80s when all the vampire movies came out at once (Once Bitten comes to mind, but there were more).
@reddingofish: seconded. That and I bristle at the thought that this is how John Updike wants his latter-day legacy to be. What, did his kids reverse-mortgage his house?
@iCurmudgeon: I watch every new "genre" show every year, but I'm not watching that one, nor planning to. I don't know how representative I am, but good choice.
@Dirk Angry: I've been watching it. It's a bunch of people with complicated, intertwined backgrounds revealed in flashbacks, while in the present they're in a finite environment that also harbors some sort of maybe mystical, maybe super high-tech...thing straight out of Clarke that won't be revealed until they need a ratings boost.
Because they have so far to fall and they're on ABC.
Stargate Universe is already grandfathered in for a second season thanks to SG1 pulling itself along for what, 10 seasons? That's enough weight for at least 2 more possible spin offs not counting SGU.
Eastwick and Vamp Diaries have grandfathered audiences(Desperate Housewives, the Twi-kids), who will if not watching because they like them, will watch so they can complain.
"v" will survive on 80's nostalgia, Stargate Universe will make it through one season on sheer momentum, The Vampire Diaries will make it on the adolescent fang vote. Dunno about the rest.
I enjoyed My Own Worst Enemy...
and Terminator: SCC, Middleman, Harper's Island, The Listener, Masters of Horror, The Dresden Files, Firefly, Clone High, The Agency, Chuck...
well...I guess i got to keep one of them.
Ooooh, really? Could you watch Reality TV then? Please? I know it's a lot to ask, but just think of the wonderful service you'd be performing for the rest of us.

(Yes, I know the name's from the movie, but why bother keeping just a part of the name of the adaptation of another work?)
The word Eastwick just doesn't sound like something anybody can get excited about.

and The Vampire Diaries.

Five internet dollars says Eastwick is going take Charmed spot ie lame show that gets a fantasy following.

I don't think there's enough booze in the world to get me to enjoy those. Sorry, this appears to be a curse that really can only be used for evil.

The Dresden Files was surprisingly good. My girlfriend and my mom loved the show.
