there are several short clips in the intro. i believe some are from con-air, some from a movie with an exploding sandbag formation and another from 8-mile but i think there's at least one more in that segment.

Upon a 16th viewing, I believe this may be the best thing to ever grace anyone's eyes and or ears.

It's weird, my gut reaction was "this sucks" and then J.J. Abrams came along and I got the biggest geek boner ever.

I'm a sucker when somebody panders to my geeky interests.

The Lonely Island song was the only reason I wanted to watch the MTV Movie Awards, but now I don't have to! Thanks.

Off the top of my head

Desperado, The Rundown, Iron Man, No Country, Man on Fire, Hancock, Four Brothers?, Seryiana, Robocop, TDK, Con-Air, Wolverine.

No idea on the Wesley Snipes, Bruce Willis, or Michael Madsen ones.

@txtphile: all the hard ones come before the desperado clip. There's like 6 in the first 10 secs. I'm pretty sure one of them is from 8 mile but that's about the only one I can ID because it's the only one where the characters are on the screen for more than half a second.
