This is such an original and lovely to look at show! I know it's expensive to produce though, which gives it less of a chance of survival.

I'm very sad (but not suprised) that ABC cancelled it. I've heard some people saying "they haven't cancelled it, they just haven't ordered any new episodes". That's worse, as far as i'm concerned, that just gives us (false) hope that they'll continue it someday. Everyone who is pissed that this show is going away should write ABC and let them know!

I've heard an as-yet-unsubstantiated rumor that ABC has announced to the Pushing Daisies people that, while they only ordered 13 eps for this season, they will be ordering a third season with production to start in May. This does sorta mesh with something I'd heard during the hiatus, where they said that they planned to incorporate the original 9 episodes into Season 2. With 13 new episodes, they have 22, which is a normal full season. And they did replay the Season 1 eps, even if they blew through them as fast as they possibly could.

I'm going to have to dispute the Chuck-as-sexiest-nerd-on-television on the basis that Agent Sarah Walker has proved to have a certain amount of geek-cred. Chuck runs a close second to her, though (er, Pushing Daisies Chuck, not Chucks-wearing Chuck Chuck). And while those moments may have a high level of geek-flair, they are not at all the best moments the show has to offer. I'm thinking of stuff like the Chinese cook trying to run through a doorway with a pipe impaled through his head, and "Kick, Pooh, kick!"

Hmmm, this actually looks awesome. I'm gonna start watching this... I don't think it's airing over here, but I'm still gonna watch it somehow, dammit!
