And he should've gotten Bowie to sing it.

(verse 1)
Know everything, it's not too late,
For that sinking feeling inside,
To pack up and leave it's simple things,
In bloodbath poetry smile.
Ah girl, you've got a million arms swinging all around me.
Don't drag me down, into your
lovingly blundering, loverly courting embrace.
Hit it.
(chorus)
Father Time your preschool makeup,
Is dripping at the seams.
I got a couple a napalms to help through your dreams.
It's a meltdown, super, a crazy need, for the hostiles around the bend.
(now the hook)
So grab your ankles, shout out loud, the world is going to end!
I did that in a couple of minutes. No science, just common Bowie-sense. The way I see it, this doctor is just that friend you had in elementary schoolthat was convinced that his Grover impression was perfect, yet everyone around him kept telling him it sounded more like the lunch lady. He never listened, and consequently, no one ever cared. As a fellow Dr. I say, be ashamed kind sir. Also, "cheerful kiss, kiss the phone?" I think not. For shame

Just write your own damn songs, you sad, sad man.
I listened the whole way through, and this is a terribly dull song that seems to lack both a bridge and a hook. Positively, the guy has a really good voice and I guess can play the guitar. But even Bowie's train wrecks are more interesting than a song with no apparent bridge and meta-uber twee lyrics.

His point was that the Bowie's lyrics can be approximated pretty well. Nothing wrong with that, even if it was a little jumbled.
