@Crenshaw13: I can't watch the clip (apparently MTV hates Canada), but my loathing of Michael Cera and those that imitate him knows no bounds. My game plan for Zombieland is to ignore all painfully awkward, shy, "heart of gold" whiners and focus on the brain smashing and creative zombie killing.
@Crenshaw13: Me too. That's exactly what I was thinking. I mean, that Michael Cera stage presence was funny in Superbad the first time (for me, I didn't watch Arrested Development before it was canceled) but he's kind of playing it out in every movie he does. And in Adventureland Jesse didn't really seem believable to me. It's getting boring to listen to, more than anything.
@disatess: My family was watching the Megan Fox / Lindsay Lohan irony fest called CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE DRAMA QUEEN from a few years ago, and my wife and I were all about the irony that La Lohan was (from the vantage of hindsight) at the high point of her career, and nobody could have bet that Fox was even going to have a career, based on what you could see there.
What a waste for both of them. Lohan should thank her parents for encouraging her to do what she did with her career and talents.
I need some good LOST/Fringe/DoctorWho spoilers so I can stop focusing on how ridiculous the Heroes ones are.
Claire looks dead?! oh no, I wonder how that will turn out for the 10th time. Hiro wipes out the entirety of the series after the first half season?! wait, does that mean I won't have watched anything after season 1? If so, I can actually really get behind that storyline...
@SusannaClymene: My thoughts exactly. The need for a dark Superman stems solely from boxoffice profitability in so much that darker comic properties tend to make more money. I'd rather believe that these dark properties are treating their subject matter SERIOUSLYY, and not just darker. Take IRON MAN, it certainly wasn't THE DARK KNIGHT in terms of tone, but it made bank because it was a good movie that didn't ham it up, like, say, the under-preforming FANTASTIC FOUR.

Of course, I also thought they had "learned why it sucked and were going to fix it."

Also: Anyone else find the Maxi-pad commercial a weird choice for a clip to a Zombie movie geared mostly towards young men?

I have a solution that will satisfy all the parts involved, and some that are not involved but just watching: Sacrifice Eggs instead
