It's a dicey proposition, calling something overrated, not least of all because it can seem like more of an insult than it's intended to be. For example, Battlestar Galactica was, at best, an amazing piece of television that managed to be thought-provoking, entertaining and addictive on a regular basis... but, by the time it closed out its run earlier this year with appearances at the UN and declarations of it being the greatest show on television ever, things were getting pretty close to overrating it. Personal taste comes into play a lot, as well; we're guilty of that as much as anyone (The strength of my Pushing Daisies love may have been somewhat out of proportion with the show itself, for example).

What we're looking for, then, isn't just the name of something (Movie, TV show, comic, book, creator, whatever) you consider overrated, but why. And, feel free to defend slighted favorites if you feel the need. We're just curious what you all think isn't as good as everyone thinks it is... Just make sure that The Venture Bros. isn't on the list, or there'll be trouble.

I don't have very high hopes for the episode after reading Charlie Jane's BSG spoilerfest this morning, but I'm still excited and mournful and wishing the show could continue on a weekly basis.

I've invited my usual posse of civil liberties nerds, hackers, and writers over to share the pain (and some Frak Paks) with me tonight, and I'll be joining you guys in comments when the show stars airing at 9 PM PST. So there is going to be some kind of death-defying mission in tonight's episode, part one of "Daybreak," which will come to a two-hour conclusion next Friday. And hopefully we'll see the outcome of Starbuck's identity crisis, as well as Boomer's hybrid baby crisis. But mostly this episode will be about what's to become of the Galactica's dying body.

Tell us what you think as things unfold tonight! I can't believe it's almost over. Really, I am in the denial phase.

Last week things went completely nuts after Boomer injured Galactica - possibly fatally - by jumping close to the ship's hull. This week Adama will be clinging to his decaying vessel, while Baltar squirms his way into a position of power once again. But all I really care about is what the frak is going on with Starbuck. Seriously, we need some answers!

But will we actually get any?

I am currently moving my entire house, including my extremely large book collection, from one end of San Francisco to the other. This has led to a shocking number of book boxes and a lot of dust-related sinus tragedies. But I'm still going to take an hour off to find out what the hell is up with Starbuck's quest to know why she was able to burn her own dead body . . . plus there's going to be some hot Boomer-on-Tyrol action (hopefully).

Tell your fellow io9ers what you're thinking about the episode as you watch. Only four more episodes (including tonight's), so it had better be good!

You know what to do. Pop some corn, open a bottle of that soy vodka they make on the Hitei Kan, and get ready for another mega-intense reveal tonight as Ellen returns to the Galactica. How can anything top the insanity of last week? And will anyone ever justify Starbuck's love?
