    That's disgusting.

    ...but the little gold mechanical puppies are cute! :)

    And the bald, human meerkats are interesting.

    Way to scare the public. Because genetic manipulation is exactly like that...

    Also, pass the brain bleach.

    @Shodan: Yeah, it's totally unrealistic that the first products would be like that, and look so scary. They'd more likely be teddy-bear or similar shapes, not look like naked fat humans + pigs. And the Japanese would have children's companions in the shape of Hello Kitty.

    I'm all for this stuff.

    They only lack one thing that would make them look ok, just one;

    fur.

    You have these in fur and they dont look horrific anymore.

    I cant wait for us to custom design species.

    If we could make, say, a horse like creature that eats plastic and can comfortable ride a few people at once we have both a form of transport and recycleing.

    For mass-transport solutions, I think Studio Ghibli has the answer.

    A geneticaly engineered catbus anyone?

    @twDarkflame: While I <3 <3 the catbus, I really doubt its' ability to get from point A to point B in a set amount of time. :)

    We might be better off with a dogbus. A literal greyhound bus! :D though a St. Bernard might be better.
