Jumping on the horror/sci fi/Victorian mashup trend, how about Oscar Wilde vs. the Martians? Or Jeeves, Time-Traveller.(not Victorian, I know, but close enough for jazz)?
Never saw Push. Morrison is awesomely insane, and Fry is a god. Although what I really want to see is him play his psychiatrist character from Bones on a special episode of House. #grantmorrison
If its actually happening, and I sincerely hope the BBC Scotland realise the potential here, then I think, nay, hope Morrison would pitch an original idea.
'The Invisibles' I can not see as a TV series. The only comic that might translate of Morrison's would be 'The Filth'. Episodic and a much more literal take on ideas from 'Invisibles', which has a Doctor Who-esque-(whatever that may be)-ness, there is promise in that premise.
With the weight of Stephen Fry behind them, we might actually get something out of this.
Here's me crossing my toes in anticipation.

I still have no idea what Pixar is thinking not making we3 its first R rated movie. Would make so much sense. Also, Pride of Baghdad would be a great fit for them. #grantmorrison
@Chuck: Indeed. I imagine he would be an amazing friend to have, if a little trying at times (Like all of us). Without Fry the script for Sense and Sensibility may have been very different. It died on Emma Thompson and she took it to Fry who spent 7 hours fixing it. #grantmorrison
@Jassen: If you haven't seen it, there was a great episode of QI last series with Emma Thompson on where they joked about this (and whether he recovered the file, or just wrote a whole new script in seven hours :-)
is there not enough doctor who like stuff.the show has 2 spinoffs and you got torchwood too.

So I guess we can forget about Fry ever delivering that Doctor Who script? So much for that bloody homosexual mafia that's supposed to have the arts and entertainment industry in it's perfumed grip. :) #grantmorrison
@Craig Michael Ranapia: I thought I heard he DID write a script sometime around series 2, but it was deemed "too ambitious" to make (I'm guessing either way too expensive, or RTD didn't like it and didn't have to heart to say so). If you look back to David Tennant's earliest DW video diaries he mentions Stephen Fry by name as one of the writers who was stopping by to see him in action.
Maybe with the Grand Moff running things now, that old script will be revisited, or they'll commission a new one.
@Jeriba: I'd heard that, but I could also believe that Fry just got himself grossly over-committed and the 'Who' script was one project he could drop without being done for breech of contract and having to fork over a serious wodge of cash. Lucky him -- most actors and writers would kill to have too much work lined up, rather than waiting for the phone to ring. :) #grantmorrison
I'm so sorry. OMG, that just came out, and in all caps! Oh, I'm so embarrassed...
Stephen Fry cannot help but turn anything he touches into awesome. It's just in his nature. I soooo hope he turns up acting in the show as well as writing or whatever he's doing, but even if he doesn't that's ok. #grantmorrison
@Discodave: R.O.A.C.H. M.O.T.E.L.: Why must there always be a substandard US remake? Can't America just leave good programming alone? At best, the remakes are watchable, but still never live up to the original. #grantmorrison
@Belabras ate my dingo!: It may only have 6 episodes a season like a lot of UK TV shows, so if it is good it can be a hellish wait between seasons. #grantmorrison
I think I'm one of the ten people in the world who actually enjoyed "Push", so I'm jazzed. Add in Grant Morrison's mad genius and we can put some "giddy" on my "jazzed". #grantmorrison
@GodofMonkeys: Ditto here. Loved Push and I love Morrison even more. How can you read The Invisibles and not realize he's a freakin' genius? #grantmorrison
