Personally, I'd love to see The Ventriloquist/Scarface as a villain in the new series, especially if they could somehow convince Anthony Hopkins to take the role, and basically play the part as a slightly older version of his character from the movie Magic.

Also, I'm not so sure about the bald, sort-of-disfigured look for PSH there. I kinda imagined him just being a calculating, chuckling, monocled gangster with a fetish for birds. He could be depicted with an office full of stuffed predatory birds.

If they include him in the new film, I hope it's as "Somebody Batman knows he can beat up to get information," rather than as a major villain.

I don't require him to play any specific villain, just regular Christopher Walken would be fine.

With Batman, we know. His parents were killed when he was a child and he's taken to dressing up as a bat to fight crime.
The Joker - a psychopathic criminal genius who likes to wear clown make-up.
What's the Penguin's story? A rich bloke with a big nose? What powers or talents does he have? I'm asking because I can't see how he would fit into Nolan's Batman universe without making him completely banal and uninteresting.
