Thankfully, her character from Pompeii was slathered under 6 tons of pancake makeup, so this won't seem nearly as weird as Martha's identical cousin.
Then again, considering Brent Vyan reincarnating as the Brigadier, Barbara suddenly reappearing as a Tigellan priestess, and Colin Baker's rather prominent role in 'Arc of Infinity,' at some point you just have to put the telescope up to your Inferno-style eyepatch and say "I see no continuity errors!"

Be nice to get a middle-aged chap in there, with a tad more melanin and not from Britain. A Chinese-American medical doctor, an Indian-Canadian engineer, whatever.

Oh, fans will bitch as they do about Tennant leaving, but they'll be right there when Matt Smith starts. And if he does a halfway decent job - if Moffett does a halfway decent job, which I have faith in, since I think he's a plot stickler - they'll stick with it.
It's a show that's constantly shifting by nature - if Dr Who fans didn't like changing casts, creators, and companions, would they REALLY be into Dr. Who for more than one season without going "Screw this"? I don't think so.

Crazy in head, crazy in bed.
I know that the English are a bit prim about sex, but who is put off by 'crazy in bed'?
Kindly send us your gingers for the good of the Commonwealth.

Nothing against Londoners, but I'm getting sick of the capital being a one-stop shop for companions these days.

Actually they all do, don't they though?

Discworld doesn't have a north. It has "Hubwards" and "Rimwards".

Tennant was great, but he'd have been dead unstoppably indescribably sexy as the Doctor if they'd let him keep his accent.
Lots of planets have an even farther north, ya know!
(Ringworld doesn't have a north either)
