I would swear I had read about a third remake in production as well.

As for this... Yikes. How does something go from intentionally bad to unintentionally bad like that?

On the bright side, Mr. Lobo--and that is totally his voice--is the only man who could take over the Criswell part.

How did I miss this yesterday? Johnson is a local filmmaker here in Virginia, and I've met him once. This being 35 really is a surprise as everything Johnson has shot has been digital. In fact, nothing of his I've seen would indicate this sort of filmmaking maturity, and this is pretty nice looking footage. So, good luck to him.

What you guys probably don't know is that there are actually TWO remakes currently in production. The estate of Wood is endorsing the OTHER remake being produced and directed by a good friend of mine, Chris Kahler. Chris has already been shooting for a few months.

@gorehound: I've seen it absolutely sober and it's even funnier -- you really notice ALL the dumb stuff.

"Stupid, stupid humans!" (or however that line goes) The cop scratching his head with the gun. So many more.

Best viewed with other people; second viewing and up it's good to have a slightly altered consciousness.

@matthewtoney: I think it's really best to watch it first without the commentary, b/c that way you get the whole... mindblowing-ness of it all unfiltered. And you get to make your own comments. Best watched with at least one other person.
