And, btw, if you support gay marriage stop comparing gays getting married to rapists, pedophiles and other deviants. All of those deviants mentioned can have BOTH preferences and all of those deviants are based on severe trauma. There are gay people out there that have perfectly well rounded homes and they're still gay. No sexual abuse, still gay. Not to mention that the homosexual unions up to debate today are of a consensual nature.
Consensual. As in, adults with private lives.
So please, before you start telling people what marriages they can and cannot have... kindly shut up cause it has absolutely nothing to do with you. (and it's not going to lessen the chances that your child, or you might be gay)

Who among you out there has ever fallen in love with somebody totally "wrong" for you? Your friends and family tried their best to dissuade you, tried their best to get you on the right path. Okay, maybe they were right. That conniving bitch/bastard totally had to go, but I'm willing to bet that some of you out there found just the right partner despite the protests, your Groddamned soulmate.
Sexuality is not a choice. We all find the Love that is right for us. How can anyone condemn the possibility for joy and fulfillment for an other? How does anyone else's happiness diminish your own?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints encouraged its members to donate money to the campaign, but it gave no money itself towards it.
Although the LDS Church will never support a political candidate, it's just the same as a church or minister pledging their support for a political candidate. Perhaps you favour preventing private citizens from donating their own money towards political causes?

When 90% of the money donated to the 'yes on 8' campaign comes from institutions that are supported by religious institutions, it becomes a problem. While on paper a church doesn't directly fund a proposition but, when a church supports a group which, in turn, supports Prop 8 then it's a thinly veiled religious cause. Look into their funding and the money trail. It all leads to religious institutions.

Actually this is just starting to come into light. Anti-prop 8'ers are saying that the campaign was handled poorly and not advertised sufficiently. Honestly, the propositions didn't get nearly as much media attention until after the damned election.
Also, Prop 8 "The Musical" didn't come out until, like, a week later.
