    This is really very personal to me. My father has had his leg removed recently because of his Diabetes. And at the moment I write this he's at Physio. He's had to spend gruelling weeks trying to make his knee stump straight so it will accept a prosthetic later on. And he's doing great. He uses a leg frame with a 'Balloon' leg inserted to give comfort whilst he trys to get better. These type of innovations make me smile. So glad things like this are always being improved. I might get my dad one if they aint too expensive. If not he's stuck with an NHS leg for a while....but at least he's doing better.

    Ive been tempted for a while to get him a parrot and an eyepatch!!!

    Blazer and shorts? I get how they wanted to show the prosthetic in some sort of business/casual way, but this comes off more like collegiate/pirate deckhand. Odd.
    Nice design of the actual prosthetic though, quite stylish. Those Ken doll-type legs are too uncanny valley.

    @disatess: Selling them un-assembled and in bulk through Ikea is sure to keep the cost down... granted the buyer still has both hands to assemble this beautiful walnut and aircraft aluminum prosthesis themselves.
