I'm watching it right now and I'm really digging it. The opening sequence was great -- it jumps right into the action and looked fantastic. If anything the animation in this episode, they seem to have really figured out the look of the show. The techno remix is fine, it works with the look of the show, and shows that they're trying to do something different. Clearly this show isn't for those who saw the movie when you were 8, these are for the kids who are 8 now. If you can't accept that -- or even understand that -- then you're not a Star Wars fan.

I found it enjoyable. The techno music was a nice addition. I would not mind additional force and light saber use - not Force Unleashed but...

Speaking as someone who has tried Windows Vista's voice recognition system, suddenly R3's behaviour doesn't seem to be particularly odd anymore. Submit click submit delete that fine aisle just use the mouse

I was please with the action sequences, all the way from the opening trap by Anakin's forces. I can't really complain much, its very conforting to know I now have 20 minutes of Star Wars every friday to enjoy.

The musical score was definately out of place and I'm sure there was an internal change that brought about the suckitude of this weeks episode. Its sad because you could see the awesomeness of the series there, it was just overshadowed by the constant and poor orchestration of EVERY single MOMENT of the episode.

I have to say, I'm with the "R3 is a spy" crowd. Still, wasn't a great episode.

One thing I didn't like, is when the massive wars ships lose an engine or something, they start to "sink". Why, in space, do they immediately start going downward? And no, the planet's gravity isn't doing that.

Other than that, I don't mind lots of things because it's a kids show, but I do still feel embarrassed if other people are watching it with me because of the dialogue and stiff animation.

Finally, the "techno" music brought Star Wars into the 21st century.

I honestly didn't mind the music. Kinda enjoyed the change of pace, actually. On the other hand, I DID mind the offensively stupid script. A LOT. In addition to the hamfistedly telegraphed "Durrrr, me turn off engines" crap, you'd think that people writing a sci-fi show would have at least a passing knowledge of astronomy. Planetary rings aren't an asteroid field, and vice versa.

Oh, and writer guys? You know that droid "banter"? It's not funny. It's not cute. It just makes me want to smash your hands with a baseball bat so you'll no longer be able to write this crap that damages young, innocent brains.

A Star Wars episode sucks, we get a glaring blow-by-blow dissection.

A Fringe episode sucks, we get three weeks of advance spoilers followed by a clinical dissection of exactly HOW and WHY viewership was DIVERTED from the show io9 is PAID to spunk about has done/did/whatever ________________.

Clearly, a percentage of io9 blogger paychecks comes from Lucasfilm.

Clearlier, a higher percentage comes from Fox.

Too bad it's all about The Numbers. :(

I thought it was "okay". And am I the only one who kinda liked the techno-y beats? I mean, how long can Star Wars cling on to John William's teats? It doesn't need to remind us of the first Star Wars movie in every episode.

The worst part for me was the jacking of the theme for Bram Stoker's Dracula for Gen Grievious

Look, it's one thing if this show is on Sci-Fi, but it's another altogether that it's on Cartoon Network. DO any haters honestly think that little kids are Star Wars purists or give a shit about how Anakin is portrayed on this show or in the movies? No, and that's the reason my son and other little kids like it so much and why it will continue to always stay relevant. My son was a Sith Pirate for Halloween, because he dressed up like a pirate and carried a red lightsaber. He doesn't care, and really bitching about any part of the continuity or how techno remixes piss on the Star Wars universe is kind of retarded.

Was the music used during the planetary ring battle the theme to "Bram Stroker's Dracula?"
