    "Apparently she is the daughter of the new editor of The Daily Bugle, a man who is also referred to as ‘a viper' (more on this in a second). She falls in love with Peter Parker, and uncovers his true identity. Her father then dies, and Hardy becomes a threat to Peter Parker (presumably as The Black Cat)."

    Viper is the new name for Madame Hydra. Or maybe they are refering to the Serpent Squad and Jordan Stryke. Those are all in the Marvel Universe, but are Captain America and X-Men villains.

    Viper = HYDRA?

    Then again, Hydra always seemed more like a Captain America/ Iron Man villain than Spider-Man, so I couldn't really see them fitting into the Spider-Man character license Sony got from Marvel. #blackcat
