    i have an overwhelming urge to want to like Heroes... but i just cant. i watched it last season because that is what i did on mondays. but now, i dont know what to do. can they kill the majority of the cast off and get some new characters?

    Not much to report from the Doctor Who Series 5 end of things, but one of the set watchers has reported seeing somebody changing into a costume composed of "green and red blobs" that was "very reminscent of effects from the Tom Baker era."

    When I think of Tom Baker style blobs, I picture either spray-painted bubble wrap or giant inflated bin bags, but perhaps they're thinking of something more along the lines of Omega's blobby minions from 'The Three Doctors.'

    @bluehinter: When you mention "green and red blobs" I immediately think of those bubbly gumdrop monsters in the 70s special "The Three Doctors" which is hands down my favorite classic Doctor Who story.

    If this means that Timothy Dalton is the return of Omega, I'm going to wet myself.

    @jane2073: Indeed. I watched through my employer's bandwidth clamps and the sound/pic got out of sync - so it looked like everyone cheered the woman AFTER Donna (her mom?).

    I let the vid finish loading and restarted. Squee!!!!
