Yes. Passage should be mentioned. What happened to the literate io9?

@Reed Barker: @John Mallaney: You both beat me to it. I liked PASSAGE but it's no DOOMSDAY BOOK, the novel that made me cry in public, damn you, Willis!

Another vote for Time Bandits, and Passage.

I got "Starship Titanic" (book) for like 25 cents at a thrift store. A real treasure for me.

Fun fact: The title of "Voyage of the Damned" was originally "Starship Titanic," until someone told him about the Douglas Adams game.

I would also count Somewhere In Time, not because it's a Titanic story, but because James Cameron's Titanic ripped of Somewhere In Time shamelessly.

ST: Voyager tackled a titanic-ish story line... can't think of which episode (thinking "Year of Hell pt1-2)

They used a honeycombish thing to seal off parts of the ship in case of hall breaches. Thus allowing them to work with most of the ship open to space...

@DARSFOG: The X-Files didn't do Titanic per se, just a couple other doomed ships, in "Triangle" and "Dod Kalm."
